My name is Nick K, if you knew me in middle school then you may know me as Caveman, and I’m a freshman at our high school, in the graduating class of 2014.I’m very glad to be out of middle school and into high school where the people are much more mature. I’m even more glad I’m at this particular high school because the teachers are awesome, and I get to see my friends who I haven’t seen in 3 years.
For academics, I want to do well in all of my classes, especially Geometry, because I struggled in Algebra 1 last year. I want to be able to speak Spanish fluently so I’m taking Spanish, and I will probably take it for all 4 years. I want to get a 3.0 GPA, and keep my GPA at least at a 3.0. It would be pretty amazing if I were able to get a 4.0 GPA at some point in my 4 years in high school.
Next, I will talk about my family. I hope to spend more quality time with my dad, David. I want to get a job so I don’t need to rely on my parents as much. I want my sister, Raeann, and I to have a good connection and stay in touch for when she moves out. If I had a job I would help put money towards getting my dad’s back fixed, and help pay the bills. Plus if I get a job, I can buy things for myself, and not have to worry about bugging my parents for money.

As for my social life, I want to stay in touch with old friends. My best friend, Brandon M, is currently at BHS, but he was thinking about transferring to my high school for next year. Of course making some new friends is a goal as well. If I get along with most of the people here, then I’ll be happy.
For my fitness and health, getting in shape would be nice, so I’m working as hard as I can in Mr. Huffman’s P.E. class. Getting in shape is not my only goal, as I would like to get some muscle as well. Changing my diet is another superior goal for me. Getting in shape is important because I work with my dad, and I’m going to have to be able to do some heavy lifting.
I’m a gamer, so I have some video game goals. I want to master all the games I have on my Xbox, and get the highest level on my computer game, Aion. I want to get all unlockables on Team Fortress 2, and achieve highest rank on all classes of Killing Floor. I would also like to show off to my sister on how high level my character on Aion is getting, because I’ve almost surpassed her character, which she’s had for a month, while I’ve had mine for a week. Video Games are my passion. I love playing video games because it gives me something to do while my friends have other plans. For a career, I was thinking about computer programming/video game design.
In closing, I hope I get to know everybody here well,and have an amazing 4 years.
